Winnipeg will have its PechaKucha Night Vol. 9 during the Global Cities Week, happening on February 23 at Park Theatre. The poster was designed by Winnipeg-based designer Kevin Guenther. You’ll find the full list of presenters with links on the official event page.

And here’s the second of those two presentations (the first is by Diana Thorneycroft) we added to the site today, also recorded at PechaKucha Night in Winnipeg Vol. 7 (photos here). In “Causes and Effects,” designer Robert L. Peters explains how we cannot live just for ourselves.

We have a couple of new presentations to share with you today, both recorded at PechaKucha Night in Winnipeg Vol. 7 — you can see photos from that event in this post. First up, a look at the work of Winnipeg artist Diana Thorneycroft, with her presentation “Various Bodies.”

The photo was taken by Flickr user Karenia, to help spread the word for the upcoming PechaKucha Night in Winnipeg Vol. 4, which will be held November 18 at the Park Theatre. As Karenia says, “You should come… it is guaranteed to inspire and will leave you with a nice little creative buzz.”
