St. Petersburg has a couple of themed PechaKucha Night events coming up, both of them happening in June. The first, on “music,” is set to happen on June 16, and then on June 21 you’ll find one with “theater” as a theme (see poster above). You’ll find more details in Russian on the official event pages for each: Vol. 10 and Vol. 11.
The next proper PechaKucha Night in St. Petersburg happens at the end of the month (March 31), but organizers are also preparing a special edition theatrical-themed PK event on June 21. Pictured above is the first of a planned series of ad/posters, this one featuring “guru of theatre” Konstantin Stanislavsky.

St. Petersburg just held its fourth PechaKucha Night, and here’s a look at the night that was — there are a few more photos to see in this Flickr photoset. Organizer Mikhail Barsegov also lets us know that following the intense bi-monthly pace that kickstarted PKN in the city, the next edition will be held in December or January.
St. Petersburg is still a relatively new city in the PechaKucha world, but it’s already had three successful volumes, and as organizer Misha Barsegov lets us know, Vol. 3 was the best yet with some terrific presentation and great discussions. Here’s a look at the night that was.
PechaKucha Night launched in St. Petersburg just last month, and already it’s closing in on its third volume (October 25). The following link leads to a great TV news report on PKN and its arrival in St. Petersburg, and although only in Russian, gives us all a good look at how organizers have successfully handled bringing the PechaKucha spirit to the city.
