As we posted earlier, PechaKucha Night in Southend-on-Sea Vol. 3 happens next week, but here’s a look at the Vol. 2 that was — you’ll find more photos in this Flickr photoset.

Southend-on-Sea is about to host its third PechaKucha Night volume (July 14), continuing to explore just how creatives in the area are shaping the future of the city.

PechaKucha Night was held for the first time in Southend-on-Sea earlier this month, but organizer Sean McLoughlan did not want to rest on his laurels, and so Vol. 2 is but a short week away (April 29). Above, the event’s e-flyer.

Today we highlight another presentation from this month’s inaugural edition of PechaKucha Night in Southend-on-Sea — yesterday we featured media artist Damien Robinson — this time with the works of Ackroyd & Harvey (Dan Harvey was the presenter).

Digital media artist Damien Robinson was one of the presenters at the inaugural PechaKucha Night in Southend-on-Sea, and organizer Sean McLaoughlin was kind enough to provide us with images from her presentation.

Southend-on-Sea held its first PechaKucha Night earlier this month — you can see photos from the event in this Flickr photoset — and organizer Sean McLoughlin is already prepping up for Vol. 2, which is happening at the end of the month (April 29).
We’ll be featuring two of the presenters here at PechaKucha Daily later this week.
