We always love seeing where some of the PechaKucha Nights around the world end up happening, and as evidenced in these photos from last week’s PKN Oaxaca Vol. 6, even a tent will do. There’s more to see in the following Flickr photoset.

As we recently posted, PechaKucha Night in Oaxaca Vol. 6 happens tonight (July 15) at the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca (Casa Chata). Once the event is over, check in on PKN Oaxaca’s Flickr account for photos — you’ll find plenty from previous events too, like the one above from the city’s first PKN, in this Flickr photoset.

The next PechaKucha Night in Oaxaca (Vol. 6) happens next week (July 15) at the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca (Casa Chata). You’ll find a partial list of presenters on the official event page.

We’ve seen a lot of great posters and flyers for PechaKucha Nights worldwide over the years — we even created a one-time loop of them for last night’s special pre-Tokyo Design Week edition of PKN in Tokyo — but this latest one for tonight’s (October 29) PKN Oaxaca Vol. 4 may be my favorite so far. Some are “dos,” some are “don’ts,” but which “do” are you?

PechaKucha Night in Oaxaca Vol. 3 is coming up (July 30). Organizer Daniel Brena has this to say about the event and the poster for it (pictured above):
Pechakucha Oaxaca is organizing its 3rd event in a Museum dedicated to stamps, envelopes, and everything to do with mail (Museo de Filatelia de Oaxaca, MUFI)! The image on the poster is borrowed from the Mexican game of “Lotería” and the concept was created by Carlos Franco. Check out the “O” from Oaxaca which poinst to the geographical location of the city.
