Back in May we were treated to Las Palmas‘ 4th PechaKucha Night, an evening full of inspiring presentations and, yes, beer! Organizer Jorge Ramos sends in photos from the evening, and describes a few of the presentations.

Ruben Acosta is a photographer born in the Canary Islands. He’s working on artistic projects related to the city and urbanism. He has recently won the ACCIONA award of sustainability with his project POLIS that contains pictures about constructive models in China.
At PechaKucha Night in Las Palmas Vol. 1, artist Laura Gonzalez presented some of her distinctive “lined” works, including the massive installations pictured above.
Artist Aristides Santana was one of the presenters at last month’s inaugural PechaKucha Night in Las Palmas, showing a few examples of his work.
The inaugural edition of PechaKucha Night in Las Palmas was held in early July, and from the looks of things, it not only enjoyed an amazing turnout, but the venue itself was truly spectacular.
