Kyiv took part in the Global Cities Week with its PechaKucha Night Vol. 7, and you’ll find a few photos from the event as well as a report in this blog post (here’s a Google Translate version of it). So far it was almost the biggest number of people who attended our events, and it was definitely because of the “city” topic — there are so many people who like their city and want to know more about it and of course about PechaKucha ;-) We got 10 interesting speakers who were passionate about their topics and helped us see the history, architecture, learn about our subway, tourism and, of course, about people who live in our city.
Kyiv will take part in our upcoming Global Cities Week with its PechaKucha Night Vol. 7, set for February 22 at the Sky-Hall Sport venue. You’ll find the list of presenters on the official event page, and there are more details on the event (in Russian) in this blog post.

Showing that some PechaKucha Nights are more intimate than others, Kyiv held its first PKN a few weeks ago, keeping things small to get a good start, with the idea of going bigger for its Vol. 2, which will be held later this month (December 14) — you can check out the official event page for the full list of presenters.
