Many of us may be movie buffs, but Karthik Abhiram takes it a step further by producing fan art about his favorite films, and the ones that inspire him. In “My Movie Fan Artwork,” he shares a few of the works he’s created throughout the years, covering all genres. It was recorded at PechaKucha Night in Hyderabad Vol. 6, and is in English.

Here’s a little video peek at PechaKucha Night in Hyderabad Vol. 6, that was held in November of last year. The city has already had another event since (Vol. 7), back in February, and so it surely won’t take long for a Vol. 8 to be announced.

In “Why I Run,” he shows us how his relationship with the sport has evolved over the years, and shares the heights he eventually was able to achieve. The other day we shared a video from Hyderabad that teased the city’s PechaKucha Night Vol. 8, and here’s the proper poster for the event, which also runs down all of the presenters. The event was held on March 31.

Here’s a video look at a recent PechaKucha Night in Hyderabad — we’re assuming it must be from February’s Vol. 7. It finishes with a teaser for the upcoming Vol. 8, which is set for March 31.

Hyderabad played host to its very first PechaKucha Night a couple of weeks ago, and here we have a few photos from the evening to share — there’s more to see in this Flickr photoset. As organizer Harish Krishnan tells us, Hyderabad has a very strong cafe culture, which is where chats usually happen (with a bit of “chai & biscuits”), and so their PKN was run “on lots of tea.”
