As promised, here’s a look at the poster that was produced for the recent PechaKucha Night in Des Moines Vol. 6, and as a bonus, below, the poster for PKN Des Moines Vol. 4.

We’ve seen a few examples of people trying to pronounce “PechaKucha” correctly (and incorrectly) — here’s an example we posted back in 2009 from PKN Johannesburg — and the latest one comes to us from PKN Des Moines, something that was made prior to this month’s Vol. 6. In the next post, we’ll share a few recent posters too.

PechaKucha Night in Des Moines Vol. 6 is happening tomorrow night (September 8) at the Des Moines Art Center, and here’s an article on the event from the Des Moines Register. We sure love that photo of organizers Sarah Noll Wilson and Matt McQuillen.

Des Moines is one of the latest cities to join the PechaKucha Night roster, and the city’s inaugural event was held a few weeks ago — there’s a Flickr photoset up with a few photos from the event.
