Athens is getting set to host its third PechaKucha Night, happening March 5 at Interni. The event will also do its part in raising funds for the reconstruction efforts in Haiti with the sale of buttons. Here’s more from the organizing team:

There is something elso too. The PKN team of Athens is actively trying to contribute to the PechaKucha for Haiti initiative and invites the PechaKucha Athens audience to participate in this effort. Collectible buttons designed exclusively for PKN Athens by the creative offices of Design Walk, are going to be on sale during the event of 5th March. All proceeds from this sale will go to the foundation of Architecture for Humanity currently helping to rebuild Haiti.

PechaKucha Night returns to Athens next week (Friday, May 8) for Vol. 2, to be held at an old t-shirt factory in the city’s center. As for the lineup, expect to see two architects, a chef, a biologist, two artists, an industrial designer, one opera team, a businessman, and a motion design company.
