PKN Barcelona Vol. 14

Pictured above, that’s Petz Scholtus, who has been the amazing organizer of PechaKucha Night in Barcelona since its start, and the recent Vol. 14 marked her final edition as organizer. Don’t fret, the PKN Barcelona will continue under the guidance of Marc Morro, and here’s a report from Petz. All photos in this post are by Benjamin Julve, and there’s more to see in this Flickr photoset.

The old beer brewery of Estrella Damm was packed once again last friday night for the 14th PechaKucha Night in Barcelona. Those that managed to get in could enjoy the 11 presentations while drinking beer and eating delicious stuffed potatoes. Amongst others we had Rafa Bonichon explaining why Mad Men is dead, and Marga and Arcadi told the story of their Barcelona pins that got banned by the City Council. Gary van Broekhoven convinced us that creative people should never work for free and our photographer Benjamin Julve did a ‘behind the scene’ presentation about the last 3 years of PechaKucha in Barcelona. More information, videos and photos can be found on our local blog.
