Waterville will take part in the Global PechaKucha Day – Inspire Japan event on April 16 — see the full list of presenters with links on the official event page. The PKN (Vol. 3) is taking place at the Waterville Grand Hotel, and if you look closely at the poster above, it describes it as “The Space Formerly Known as Pete & Larry’s,” and there’s a funny story to that. Our venue this time around is a renovated bar that used to be an infamous club called Pete & Larry’s. (We’re considering the event as something of an exorcism of the ghosts of Pete and Larry, facilitated by positive PechaKucha vibes.) They had a wonderfully cheesy purple neon sign (which was still up the last time we were there) that we decided to recreate for the posters. So now you know!
