It’s been a rough year in terms of devastating earthquakes, latest of which is the one that just hit New Zealand — you’ll find a good round-up of news here, including a large gallery of photos. The photo above is a scene from Christchurch, and we’ve been in touch with PKN Christchurch organizer Vanessa Coxhead, who seems fine although now has to deal with the physical damage that surrounds her. As we posted last week, there was a PechaKucha Night scheduled in Christchurch (Vol. 9) for next week (September 16), and although Vanessa is confident it will still happen, the question of venue is still up in the air, depending on the state of the Canterbury Museum (where it was to be held).
