Today we bring two Haiti-related presentations to the PechaKucha Daily blog, starting with GEA-SAR’s “57 hours later…” presentation, shown at the PechaKucha Night in Istanbul on the night of our “Global PechaKucha Night for Haiti” event.
GEA-SAR arrived in Port Au Prince-Haiti from Turkey 57 hours after the Haiti Eartquake. As soon as the team arrived at the city, they started to work on the debris of the biggest supermarket of the city. GEA-SAR operated 6 days working with the US SFTF2 team on the debris of the Caribbean Market and saved 5 lives.
