Here we are, 2010, and as our first post for the year we’d just like to highlight the amazing growth that PechaKucha Night has known over 2009 — a year that, as we all know, was a tough one for most. At the start of the year the city count was at an already impressive 163 count, and we kick off 2010 with an astounding 266, which together made up for 605 events (compared to 348 in 2008). 2010 is the year of the tiger here in Japan, and so we expect things to roar even louder over the next 12 months — and you can expect us to continue to cover it here.
