Barcelona certainly knows how to throw a great PechaKucha Night, and it was business as usual at the recent Vol. 7. Organizer Petz Scholtus sends in the following report, as well as a few photos courtesy of Benjamin Julve.
We had another really fun night in Barcelona last weekend, this time disco style! People got comfortable on the dancefloor, stretching out on recycled carpet tiles from Zicla, while Eli McCarthy sang Anatomusic, Raquel Calvo convinced us that Love Exists and we laughed ourselves silly with Jørn O. Jøntvedt from PechaKucha Oslo’s presentation about the Hawk Sandwich. A great atmosphere, plenty of Estrella Damms (the local beer) and good music by our DJs in between the 12 presentations made this another successful night, where plenty of creative glocal talent could be seen.
Below, a few more photos from PKN Barcelona Vol. 7 — there’s more to see in this Flickr photoset.
