A super marathon of 25 speakers who will present their projects, creative works and ideas to the Public. In 6 minutes and 40 seconds each!!!!!!!!! The names of these 25 speakers will be known and published on www.pkn.it just a few days before the fair starts. After the memorable start of Pecha Kucha Milan in Triennale Bovisa, some 10 days before Christmas last year,this international phenomenon, returns to Milan, Friday 18th of April, 2008 during the Salone del Mobile we will organise PKN-Milano Volume 2, from 16.00-18.20 and from 20.00-2300 at Press&Meeting Point T35 via Tortona. Milan; so in the heart of ZONA TORTONA, centre to the rich off-programme during the Salone. This second edition, will be a celebration of true creativity, in the shape of a Marathon, with 25 speakers mixed with both international stars, local heroes and many we believe will become big tomorrow. Not just, a mere simple marathon, but this PKN will also have 2 special surprises. 17:30 - For the occasion, Our special guests, The Founders of PKN, Architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham, who have come all the way from Japan, will proudly present, The Pecha Kucha book “20x20” (Edited by PKN Foundation Japan). The release will be a celebration to the presence of Pecha Kucha Night’s spirit currently active in over 100 cities in the world. (see also the worldwide website on pkn: www.pecha-kucha.org) 18:00 – At the end of the first session, there will a brief intervention from Anna Bolletta (Chief communication Officer Lorenz SPA) and Richard Sapper, designer of Fama International, who will announce the finalist and the Winner of the “75 ore Lorenz” competition. All was made possible, special thanks to our prestigious international partner Stylepark, (website for architects & designers, with a strong design focus,www.stylepark.com, and editor of a magazine organisers of fairs and events,etc), and the precious collaboration and support from ZonaTortona Design (organiser of all events un the Zona Tortona Area), and equally important ADI- Lombaria (The Italian association, Best Known for the Compasso d’Oro Prize).
