Gearing up for PK2...

12 June 2008

If you were there, our first Pecha Kucha was a fantastic night with a turnout of over 200 people! Designers mixed with the crowds after wowing people with their thoughts, projects, and humour... Hilights of the evening include Terence Yin making a surprise cameo for Marcus Savage, Ed Ng's "confidential" slide on his new W Hotel projects, Johanna Ho's flying cue-cards, and, actually, a billion other moments... Since we had such a good time, we're already getting ready for PK2?!!! SO: if you or someone you know would like to be a presenter, please drop us a line via the PK website or at garman.chan@hkdesigncentre.org as soon as you get the itch. With your participation, this will be an even bigger and badder night for Hong Kong design... A parting note... If you are looking for some creative/intellectual masturbation between now and the next PKHK, check out the Skin Inks Exhibition by China Stylus, the various art & design graduation shows, the MOCA CHINA pre-opening exhibition at DELAY NO MALL, and the newly opened Ooi-Botos Gallery...
