'Ideas Inspiring Sustainability' Next Gen invites you to PECHA KUCHA 4 happening on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Shaw Conference Centre, Hall B. Doors and Reception starts @ 6:30 PM and Presentations begin @ 7:30 PM Stay tuned for the presenter lineup which will be announced the last week of May!

Are you interested in sharing your design ideas in 20x20? If you're interested in being a presenter at Pecha Kucha Night v.4 in Edmonton, contact us at nextgen@edmonton.ca. We are looking for unique, provocative, innovative and entertaining presentations and encourage topics that focus on some element of sustainability (cultural, social, political, design, etc). The deadline for submissions is May 15 and if you're interested in presenting, please let us know before the deadline!
Thursday night is where it's at in Edmonton!

Next Gen was at it again and hosted another successful Pecha Kucha Night 3 on February 5, 2009. Tickets were SOLD OUT for the occassion with 300 people in attendance. Music was by DJ Jaycie Jayce of Shout Out Out Out Out and the presenters did a stand up job! Stantec was gold sponsor and Play it By Ear Productions was a bronze sponsor for PKN 3. Thanks to everyone who came out to Pecha Kucha Night 2 on September 11, 2008 at the TransAlta Artsbarns in the Westbury Theatre. It was a sold out event with over 300 people in attendance!

now with photographical evidence... Our first event was held on Thursday, May 1st. We had an amazing response from the community with 300 people in attendance. Our first batch of presenters were an interesting mix, ranging from architects to researchers in human visualization. These are just a small sampling of images from the night.
